I am Nick López and I am running for Heber City City Council.
I am running for Heber City Council because like you, I am passionate about our communities, neighbors, and families. I am willing to serve and listen to the issues and concerns of each and all our citizens. I see the issues that face Heber City and am confident that I have the vision and personal attributes to represent, respect, protect and unite our community.
I have spent my professional careers in the service to others. First as a 25 year Active and Reserve Combat Veteran of the US Marine Corps, with multiple tours of duty. And currently as a 30-year Firefighter with the Salt Lake Fire Department. I will bring to the Council:
• Proven Leadership
• Fortitude
• Integrity
It has been said, “Character is how you treat people who can do nothing for you”
A man’s character, honor and integrity is truly all he can claim as his own. Those traits I hold close to my heart. As a Senior Marine Leader, I always led with firmness, fairness and compassion. I have always lived up to the Corps Motto of “Semper Fidelis”, (Latin meaning Always Faithful), and that will never change.
Semper Fidelis,
Nick.
